Sandalwood oil is a signature ingredient in treatments at Chimes Salon Spa. Both Chinese and Ayurvedic traditional medicine have incorporated the use of sandalwood oil for many ailments, including: stress, panic, insomnia, angina and coronary heart disease. Tibetan monks discovered the use of the oil in 200 BC as a means to assist in focussing the mind and relaxing the body.

Wraps
The Body Wraps leave you relaxed yet energised. They also increase the circulation, relieve aches and pains, soften the skin and re-balance the body and mind. Wraps are preceded by a brisk full body brush exfoliation and end with the wrap being gently washed away whilst you remain lying on the specially designed ‘wet table’. Facials
The perennial favourite , both healing and nurturing, these facial treatments all include cleansing, massage and personalised masks to cleanse, refresh and nourish the skin. Paraffin
You may like to include a paraffin hand or foot treatment during your facial. This includes a lovely massage and dip into a bath of warm paraffin and a hands or feet wrap to soften the skin and cuticles as well as penetrating deeply to soothe and give relief to the joints. Excellent for dry cracked heels or arthritis sufferers.

Vichy Shower

Steam
Chromatherapy, sometimes called colour therapy, is based on the premise that certain colours are infused with healing energies. The therapy uses the seven colours of the rainbow to promote balance and healing of the mind and body.
Our chromatherapy colours are projected into the soft steam and adhere to a pre-determined progression that lasts about a minute, starting with three relaxing colours -violet, indigo and aqua blue- then green serving as the balancing colour, then concludes the cycle with three warm, stimulating colours - yellow, orange and red. Flotation
