Venture further into the park on the sandy four-wheel-drive tracks, or by walking a section of the Bibbulmun Track. And if that sounds tame, there’s always paragliding. Shelley Beach Lookout has two platforms purpose-built for hang gliding and paragliding.

                  Turning right into Mount Shadforth Road when leaving Chimes Spa Retreat, the Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive takes you on a leisurely sightseeing tour through the farming region surrounding Denmark. Taking in spectacular ocean views and the stunning landscape backdrops of the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges in the distance, the scenic drive is well worth doing.

                  At the end of Mount Shadforth Road, turn right onto McLeod Road. At the crossing of McLeod Road and Scottsdale Road turn right into Scotsdale Road. Enjoy a stroll along the Harewood Forest walk trail to get close to nature and witness native animals and birdlife at home in the forest.

                  Take advantage of numerous photographic opportunities, including the panoramic view from Mohr Drive overlooking Wilson Inlet and the Southern Ocean. Stop along the way at a number of exceptional wineries and arts and craft galleries to check out the local talents or enjoy a delicious feast at one of the wonderful wineries. Scotsdale Road will bring you back to the Denmark Town Centre.
